Key Stage 3 Pledge

The KS3 pledge is a challenge available to pupils in upper school. It encourages activities outside the classroom walls.  Pupils receive a booklet to keep track of their pledge activities. There are 8 to complete in total: Enrichment activity; Sports club; Leadership; Charity Event; Community work or club; Inter-house competition; Deliver to a large audience and house point attainment.

If pupils complete the pledge they will receive a special certificate at the end of year 8. This can be passed on to the next school and even mentioned in UCAS applications as an example of great participation in an extra-curricular project.

All activities are signed off by the Heads of Year. The pledges must be completed over year 7 and 8.
